I just came back from a shoot in Redding where I live... Here is an example of something to try... Since it was dark and overcast, (a good thing when shooting water and rocks)... I was able to do time exposures with the camera on a tripod... see how the water turns to fog, yet the clarity and sharpness is retained in the moss and rocks... The exposure was 15 seconds @ f16... notice I am filling the frame and concentrating on the essential elements of the picture...

  1. This photo is amazing! I am trying to figure out how to get my foreground and background both clear at the same time when I am taking close up photos. Is there a strategy you can suggest?
