lioght, shapes and shadow

I gathered a variety of photographs from Milford.I was driving by and had to stop to take a picture oh the ships that were at a lonely stand.I took 2 shots in the home I work at when the sun was shining through in the early morning hours.

self portriat

These photographs are the portraits I took.On the top left and right is the little girl I nanny for.I love the first one because it was a quick shot and she was turned just enough to focuss in on the light. She is very photogenic which helps bring out the picture even more. The little boy lives across the street from me, and he was running stoppped quick while I took the picture.
I would love to fall into a bed like this

Stairs to Nowhere

Some times we need an angel or butterfly to lead us to a staircase into another brighter place.

Pollution

Week #6

This is my son Nathan. Sorry for the smile but he generally never smiles right in a picture but in this one his smile was perfect so I had to keep it..........I am so proud of him. He is 14 years old and with God's help he will be the next professional soccer player, like Maradona, Rinaldino, Beckham, Pepe.

Week #5

This was my other favorite. I thought the colors were so beautiful and peaceful........the only thing that would have made it better was if a bee landed in it!!

How to Save your "Surreal" Pictures

Hi everyone,

Stephanie asked in an email how to save the picture you create on the Ateneum site... here is the rundown... after creating and saving it on the Museum site,  you need to hit the "print screen" button on your keyboard.... next open Paint or Photoshop Start>Accessories>Paint and select Edit>paste.... now select the area of your picture with the rectangle select tool... now Edit>Copy, then file new, don't save the first file... now select File>New and your selected area will appear... now, this is important, save this as a jpg file for posting to fotothing and the blog...
Seems complicated but when you do it once, you will see how easy it is....
